EASCO Boiler Corporation announced the appointment of Eduard J.
Zimmermann, who for the majority of his career was the owner and president of
DRYPOLL, which designed, sold, installed and maintained heat processing,
plastics and automation systems for the food processing, materials handling and
packaging industries, to the position of national sales manager.
Zimmermann brings with him over 30 years of success and a unique set of
comprehensive business abilities. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in
Mechanical Engineering in Zurich, Switzerland.
Both a Swiss and U.S. citizen, Zimmermann also has formal training in
electrical engineering, accounting, marketing, sales, and business law from
Pace University in New York City. He
also took post-graduate courses from both the University of Maine and Iona
College in New Rochelle, NY.
For the majority of his career, Mr. Zimmermann was the owner and
president of DRYPOLL, which designed, sold, installed and maintained heat
processing, plastics and automation systems for the food processing, materials
handling and packaging industries. In
this role, Zimmermann handled all aspects of this corporation: equipment design
and manufacturing, sales and customer relations, as well as finances, union
contract and corporate policies. He
worked with engineers and a complete sales agent network throughout the U.S.,
Canada, South America, Europe and Middle East.
Zimmermann joined EASCO in March
2007 in a production management/facilities expansion role – ones he will
maintain as he takes on the national sales manager duties assisted by Joye
Chizek who has been with EASCO in a consulting role since 2001. Former sales
manager Larry Hurburt has returned to the representative side of the market
place with G.A. Fleet in New York.
