What was formerly known as the ARI Certification Directory is the
now called the AHRI Directory of Certified Product Performance, and it also has
a new Web address: www.AHRIdirectory.org.
AHRI (the association comprised of the former Air-Conditioning Refrigeration
Institute – ARI, and the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association – GAMA) is
asking members to spread the word among their customers of this change and to
update their hyperlinks to the directory and mentions of the Web address in
their marketing literature. The GAMA and I=B=R databases of certified heating
equipment will remain at their current address (www.GAMApower.org), although
future plans are underway to merge the three programs into one directory.
Additionally, work is in progress on the newly launched AHRI
website (www.AHRInet.org). The site, which is under construction, introduces
the newly merged association, and features AHRI news, events, and leadership
and membership rosters.
The new website also provides links to the former GAMA and ARI
websites, both of which remain operational while the AHRI site is further
constructed. Prior to the merger, ARI had been working on the development of a
new website. This site launched on January 28. Although it currently carries
the ARI name and URL (www.ari.org), this site will be developed as the primary
AHRI website over the next several months. It will eventually reflect AHRI’s
brand identity and will include content from the former GAMA website. Stay
tuned for future updates about the site’s development.
