ESD (Environmental Systems Design, Inc.) has promoted Tony Kempa to chief operating officer and Nathan Snydacker to chief of engineering.

During his six years at ESD, Kempa has served as director, vice president, and senior vice president of marketing. In his role as COO, he is responsible for providing the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the firm has the proper operational controls, human resources, financial, and information technology systems in place to grow. Kempa holds a master of business administration degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management as well as a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from Western Illinois University.

Nathan Snydacker joined ESD in 1999 as a mechanical engineer and has served in the roles of project manager, technical authority, vice president, and senior vice president. His project portfolio includes commercial interiors, data centers, airports, and retail facilities. As chief of engineering, Snydacker is responsible for the leadership of the firm’s vertical markets and serves as a strategist, advisor, and decision maker providing insight for strategic planning, business development activities, and operating procedures/governance.
