Navien has introduced NaviClean™, a magnetic boiler filter powered by Adey® and designed to work with Navien NHB boilers, NCB-E combi-boilers, and any other boiler system up to 199,000 Btuh. NaviClean protects boiler systems by using a permanent magnet to capture high levels of iron oxide, sludge, and debris from the incoming water lines. It is designed with bi-directional flow and 360-degree rotational valves, which the company says makes in-line installations simple enough to be completed in just two minutes. The dirt filtration technology of NaviClean aims to help extend the life of a hydronic heating system while reducing heating costs, maintenance costs and, carbon emissions.
