Continental Fan has developed its MFT-S Mixed Flow In-Line Fans, available in 4-, 5-, and 6-inch duct diameters. The company says the fans are ideal for either supply or exhaust ventilation systems and are suitable for air temperatures up to 140ºF. The specially designed housing is optimized with an aerodynamic diffuser and specially designed impeller to produce powerful pressure and airflow, while generating very little noise, according to company officials. The fans are also capable of moving airflow through long or complex duct runs, and provide a solution for areas that are hard to heat or cool. Other benefits include UV and corrosion resistance, easy access to motor and impeller, automatic reset thermal overload protection, an energy efficient two speed motor, and more.
