Dwyer Instruments has released its Humidity/Temperature Transmitter Series RHPLC. The Series RHPLC is ideal for monitoring humidity and temperature levels for many building automation applications such as room comfort monitoring for schools, offices, or hospitals.

Dwyer officials said the Series RHPLC Humidity/Temperature Transmitter has been streamlined to provide only the essentials in order to create a cost-effective design for building automation systems. It features a polymer capacitance humidity sensor in order to deliver a proportional analog output and models can be configured with a 2 percent or 3 percent accuracy.

Models can be configured for humidity only or for combination humidity and temperature, minimizing the number of sensors installed on a wall. Both can utilize a 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5 VDC, or 0 to 10 VDC output, as well as a wide selection of passive RTD or thermistor temperature sensors to match the input specifications of most control manufacturers.
