Berlin-based InvenSor GmbH says it is advancing the global distribution of its adsorption chillers in the range of up to 200 kW. Made in Germany, the company develops patented environmentally-friendly technology based on a physical process called adsorption to create cooling from heat without using electrical energy.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has launched a new control product developed to improve the energy efficiency of chiller plants. Interfacing with an existing building or chiller plant automation system, the Armstrong OPTI-VISOR™ controls the key components of a chiller plant, providing the optimal operating settings for equipment such as water-cooled variable speed chillers, variable flow cooling towers, and variable speed pumps on the chilled water and tower water circuits.
Semco LLC has launched its IQHC (high capacity) Series of active chilled beams that provide high efficiency cooling/heating. They are specifically designed for the loads of North American commercial building applications at hospitals, office buildings, and schools.
