RBI has introduced the Futera XLF near-condensing high-efficiency copper fin boilers. Available in 5,000-10,000 MBH, the Futera XLF has operating efficiencies up to 88% and turndown ratios of 5:1 for maximum energy optimization. The company says its Futera XLF provides advanced, efficient boiler performance within a compact footprint.
Cleaver-Brooks has launched its configured watertube boilers known as CBCW. Designed to make the purchase of industrial watertube boilers easier, the company says its CBCW line enables customers to get a quote quickly and to receive technical documentation without the additional time required to develop that documentation on a custom order.
In order to streamline the process of purchasing a watertube boiler, Cleaver-Brooks offers 17 D-type CBCW boilers with capacities ranging from 10,000 to 225,000 MBtuh per. These boilers are available in natural gas only, oil only, or natural gas and oil models with turndown based on the fuel used.
Weil-McLain® has enhanced its high-efficiency SlimFit™ 1,000, 1,500, and 2,000 MBH commercial condensing boiler line with the advanced capabilities of the Unity™ Controller. The company says the upgrade is designed to reduce installation and set-up time for contractors, simplify boiler system design for specifying engineers, and improve control interface commonality and communication across the entire Weil-McLain high efficiency boiler line.
Navien will be introducing a new Fire Tube Boiler line at the 2018 AHR Expo. The NFB, Navien Fire Tube Boiler, is designed for residential and light commercial applications. Four models will be displayed at AHR: 175,000, 199,000, 299,000, and 399,000 Btuh.
Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. introduced the Buderus SSB Industrial Boiler. The company says the boilers are available in 798 MBH and 1,024 MBH standalone units, or a 1,024 cascading unit, designed to effortlessly cascade to meet demands up to 4,096 MBH, making it an ideal solution for applications such as schools, hotels, office buildings, and warehouses.
ADEY® introduced the MagnaClean® Professional2XP™, which helps to virtually eliminate iron oxide in hydronic heating systems. According to the company, buildup of this damaging sludge can reduce heat transfer by as much as 15% and reduce boiler efficiency by up to 6% in only three weeks.

Cleaver-Brooks has launched the ClearFire®-CE (CFC-E) condensing boiler. The company says the boiler can achieve up to 99% efficiency due to its enhanced AluFer® firetube heat exchanger and dual temperature returns. When utilized, dual temperature returns increase condensing in a hot water boiler, raising efficiency by 6% or more compared to a traditional single-return design, according to officials.
