Taco Comfort Solutions has added new features and capabilities to its large 00e VR ECM, wet rotor commercial circulator line designed for chilled and hot water applications. Available in four sizes (VR 15-3, 20-3, 25-3, and 30-3), the sensorless 00e VR line provides differential head pressures up to 42 ft and flows up to 360 GPM.
Trane is expanding its portfolio of Performance Climate Changer™ air handlers to provide customers with a custom unit that is designed and built for applications that require exact specifications for size, shape, components, materials and performance.
Daikin Applied’s Intelligent Equipment® is now available as a factory-installed option on Trailblazer® chillers. The company says the equipment helps building owners and facility managers transform how they manage HVAC equipment. Officials also said the Intelligent Equipment transfers and applies data from the unit through the cloud to drive value, helping building operators monitor energy consumption at the equipment level.
Daikin Applied has introduced new developments with its Magnitude® WME Generation 2 magnetic bearing chiller. Firmly grounded in Daikin’s oil-free, magnetic bearing compressor technology, the Magnitude® WME Generation 2 builds on its performance with a redesign of the single compressor WME models from 400 to nearly 800 tons. The company says the Magnitude WME Generation 2 offers improved performance (especially in harsher climates), lower operating costs, and improved first costs.
Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. upgraded its SM Series, two-stage geothermal water source heat pump. Bosch redesigned its SM vertical and counterflow cabinets with an increased focus on serviceability and reliability, with front water connections and an all-aluminum air coil to resist formicary corrosion. Bosch says it also redesigned the internal layout for easier access through the front panel to components most often requiring service or adjustment.
Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) has launched its HSC, HPC, and LNC series of sealed enclosure cooler products. Sealed enclosure coolers are used to dissipate heat inside enclosures or cabinets that house and protect electrical/electronic equipment from harmful environments.
Titus has introduced the new FlowBar architectural linear diffuser system. Officials claim the diffuser has been designed to maximize engineering performance without sacrificing aesthetic considerations for the designer. The company also says FlowBar’s performance allows higher airflows than conventional linear diffusers.
Greenheck’s line of Model EQB mixed flow inline fans has expanded with the addition of five new sizes. Now available in eleven sizes, 9 through 33, Model EQB offers a performance range up to 26,000 cfm and static pressure up to 3 in wg. All Model EQB sizes are licensed to bear the AMCA Seal for Sound and Air Performance.
SWEP reports that it is the first company to provide Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers (BPHEs) certified by the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Testing performed by their contracted laboratories verify that product performance is according to specified ratings. This offers additional security when selecting BPHEs for HVAC installations.
Greenheck has expanded its packaged rooftop ventilation line with the addition of Model RV(E)-120, a pre-engineered system featuring increased performance capabilities for larger dedicated outdoor air systems, multi-zone VAV systems, and single-zone VAV systems.
