The control platform consists of a TruVu™ MPC processor, featuring built-in BACnet routing and integration capabilities, along with expansion modules that can be added to support up to 180 total input/output (I/O) points for a variety of HVAC applications.
Johns Manville has released a flexible fiberglass duct liner with an R-12 thermal resistivity rating. This insulation is designed specifically to meet the new code requirements set forth by the IECC in 2015 that mandate the use of R-12 insulation on ducts in unconditioned spaces in climate zones 5-8.

The company says the Hitachi SmartFlex™ VRF Gen II offers significant enhancements including a re-engineered outdoor unit line with a greater operating range and a wider selection of single module sizes and an indoor unit line that includes re-engineered ducted units with greater static pressure.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has enhanced its Fireset™ Horizontal Split Case (HSC) pump line with two new models. Featuring a tilted parting design to maximize efficiency by minimizing turbulence at the impeller eye, the new 5x4x17F and 6x5x12F pumps are ideal for installations that require between 500 and 1,000 USgpm. A new line of dedicated outside air systems (DOAS) from the YORK® brand of Johnson Controls includes a range of 100% outside air units and mixed air units. With heat pump operation and water source operation, as well as a hot water heat option, the new line of air systems delivers more combinations of heating and cooling. The systems also feature an internal energy recovery wheel that pre-conditions outside air and reduces heating and cooling loads by transferring energy between the exhaust airstreams.
Lochinvar is introducing an addition to its Power-Fin line with the Power-Fin High Efficiency Commercial Boiler. This product expansion of the original line, which launched in 1986 and just celebrated its 30th anniversary, now offers an input capacity from 2.5 to 5 million Btuh, more than doubling its previous capacity. The enhanced performance comes from a heat exchanger that features a double row of swept fins that delivers more than twice the output of the original model.
Kohler Power Systems has completed its first industrial standby diesel generator line powered by a Kohler engine. The fully-integrated Kohler product line utilizes Kohler’s Direct Injection (KDI) diesel engines and includes both Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final models ranging from 15 kW to 60 kW.
