Heat Transfer Products Group LLC released its new EcoNet® Enabled Unit Coolers. Developed in conjunction with Rheem Manufacturing, the company says it builds on the efficiency of Rheem’s EcoNet® technology and brings it to the commercial refrigeration market.
Emerson has released the Copeland Scroll™ ZF54K5 compressor, a capacity extension of the Copeland Scroll K5 compressor. The company says the compressor offers facility operators a new solution to assist with meeting sustainability goals while helping to lower costs and boost energy efficiency.

Two new Minicore energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) from Ruskin — enERVent models MCV500 and MCV1000 — exceed 50% to 60% total energy recovery effectiveness with 0.5% cross-contamination. Both models feature a compact 16-in chassis — ideal for ceilings and small spaces — and a hydroscopic resin energy recovery core with no moving parts for maintenance savings. The heat exchanger technology also exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 standards to accommodate future governmental regulations. The ERVs are also AHRI 1060-certified.
Danfoss recently introduced its new Multi Ejector Solution™, which the company says will help CO2 become a major asset for the cooling industry. As a refrigerant, CO2 has the lowest possible Global Warming Potential (GWP) with a rating of “1,” causes zero ozone depletion, and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
