Fujitsu General America Inc. has expanded its Airstage™ V-II VRF equipment line of VRF heat pumps with enhanced capabilities and operational efficiencies. The latest series now includes 6-, 8-, and 10-ton condensers, helping to reduce the number of condensers in certain configurations.
ADEY® Professional Heating Solutions has launched its MagnaClean Commercial™ Magnetic Filter range to the North American market. MagnaClean Commercial’s patented magnetic filtration system works immediately upon installation, removing virtually all of the suspended iron oxide that collects in hydronic heating systems.
Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. has developed the new CITY MULTI® L-Generation water source condensing systems. Combining the efficiency of water source with VRF, the company claims the next-generation W-Series systems offer enhanced efficiency ratings across all categories. The systems feature single modules up to 20 tons, with the ability to combine single modules for systems up to 30 tons. W-Series systems can also be integrated into specialized water-side designs, such as geothermal or existing closed water loops.
The Remote Lamp Mount (RLM) Small Systems (S/S) ultraviolet (UV-C) lamp fixture kit from UV Resources is designed to deliver ultraviolet energy to destroy coil/drain pan microbial infestations and disinfect moving air streams in hard-to-service fan coil units, PTAC units, and heat pump systems. According to company officials, by inactivating these microbes, the UV small systems kit helps prevent coil inefficiencies, drain pan overflow, and foul odors.
Technical Systems (TSI), a division of RAE Corporation, has announced the availability of its Series 35 Evaporative Cooled Chillers. The company says the chillers have been specifically designed to provide-highly efficient cooling for commercial and industrial-duty applications.
Honeywell has introduced the Command and Control Suite, which the company says turns complex facility data into recommendations and easy-to-implement changes that help boost business outcomes — lowering costs, minimizing risk, and reducing downtime.
Continuing to expand on its existing heat pump product offerings, Bosch Thermotechnology says it has introduced a new split system version of its FHP LV Model package heat pump for commercial applications. Designed specifically for the new construction and replacement/retrofit market, the small footprint LV Split System heat pump comes in 8 sizes — 1.5 through 6 tons — and permits the condensing section to be placed remotely from the air handler section, allowing the unit to be placed in locations where space is limited or where the condenser needs to be located away from occupied areas to ensure minimum sound levels. The air handler section may be concealed within a variety of areas in the building for convenient connection to ventilation ducts.
Fellowes, Inc. introduced its line of air quality control systems designed to reduce the presence of airborne germs, allergens, and odor in public and shared spaces, such as restrooms, cafeterias, break and waiting rooms. AeraMax® PRO air quality control systems are designed specifically for installation in public and shared spaces.
