The DATAMAX line of generators ranges from 1,100 to 3,500 kW, covering 480 to 13,800 volts 60 hertz and 400 to 11,000 volts 50 hertz and is available in 740, 760, 860, and 1,000 frame designs with low-reactance customization.

A new line of dedicated outside air systems (DOAS) from the YORK® brand of Johnson Controls includes a range of 100% outside air units and mixed air units. With heat pump operation and water source operation, as well as a hot water heat option, the new line of air systems delivers more combinations of heating and cooling. The systems also feature an internal energy recovery wheel that pre-conditions outside air and reduces heating and cooling loads by transferring energy between the exhaust airstreams.
Panasonic Heating & Air Conditioning Group introduced the latest entry in the ECOi EX ™ Series, the new 460 volt unit, designed for commercial use. New to the series is the 2-way ECOi VRF Heat Recovery system, which the company says increases heating output and lowers installation costs.
Nortek Global HVAC is adding a new 96% AFUE gas furnace to its lineup. Model FG7TE/FG7TN comes with a factory-installed ECM motor and programmable control board. The new furnace meets Energy Star requirements and qualifies for local utility rebates and the U.S. federal tax credit.
Blue Energy Technologies is introducing the SMART Steam Trap, a technology that aims to reduce energy consumption in industrial manufacturing facilities. The technology is a replacement for mechanical steam traps that fail. The company says SMART Steam Traps are more effective because they use venturi technology to collect condensate and block steam. The traps have no moving parts, come with a 20-year performance guarantee, are made from stainless steel.
Greenheck’s new Model GWAE self-cleaning Auto Scrubber Hood System cleans both sides of the filters in place along with the inside of the exhaust plenum. Company officials said this eliminates the need for daily removal and cleaning, reducing operating costs and increasing worker safety. The reduction of grease build-up on the filters, ductwork and fans decreases fire potential as well.
