Fujitsu General has added to its “J-Series” Airstage VRF line with introduction of the smaller J-IIS series. The J-IIS avails variable refrigerant flow technology for smaller residential, multi-housing, and light commercial uses with equipment now available in three- and four-ton sizes.
MacroAir has introduced AirEffect, a climate control system for large diameter fans. Through automation, AirEffect eliminates the need to constantly monitor and adjust the fans’ speed and direction in response to temperature fluctuations. AirEffect identifies and dictates the optimal operating speed and direction for each fan based on the facility’s temperature and humidity.
Fujitsu General America Inc. has expanded its Airstage™ V-II VRF equipment line of VRF heat pumps with enhanced capabilities and operational efficiencies. The latest series now includes 6-, 8-, and 10-ton condensers, helping to reduce the number of condensers in certain configurations.
Mitsubishi Electric recently introduced its CITY MULTI® ceiling cassette indoor unit, featuring the new 3D i-see Sensor™. The 3D i-see Sensor is a small component mounted to the exterior panel of the ceiling cassette. The sensor continuously analyzes the thermal profile of a room, identifying cool and warm spots. To achieve an accurate thermal profile, it performs hundreds of circular scans, with multiple points per scan, continuously monitoring.
The latest multi-zone split system from Fujitsu is the AOU45RLXFZ, five-zone heat pump. The heat pump system permits connection of between two and five indoor units to one outdoor condensing unit. The company says the system offers high efficiency operation of up to 19.7 SEER and 10.3 HSPF.
