Honeywell is set to partner with the city of Newark, New Jersey, on an energy savings improvement project to help the city save money and taxpayer dollars.
Judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, and others who spend their days in and out of courtrooms in San Diego waited more than a decade for a proposed new state courthouse to become reality. According to designers on the project, their patience was rewarded.
For the past 20 years, the Wilkes County Courthouse in Wilkesboro, NC, has depended on its chiller system. The courthouse had been reliably cooled with a Daikin ALS170A screw compressor chiller, but the unit was beginning to show signs of aging.
“Insulation systems appear to be simple, but doing them correctly can be complex,” says John Puskar, president of Prescient Technical Services and an expert on codes and standards related to piping, furnaces, and boilers.
