Ametek Land has launched the 4650-PM Continuous Dust Monitor. The company says the technology has been used in Europe and can help U.S. power plants to meet the EPA’s new Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) for particulate matter measurement.
Fresh-Aire UV introduced the Fresh-Aire UV Control Panel, a control panel that automates the monitoring of UV-C wavelength feedback, safety, and efficacy for new air handling unit (AHU) FAUV Commercial Series UV light systems.
Altronic has released the DE-3000+ Advanced Engine-Process Control System, a new safety shutdown and management system for gas engine-driven compressor/pump package applications. The company says the system brings together the latest features and functionality of the recently-enhanced standard DE-3000 system with the MIDAS® human-machine interface (HMI).
Continental Fan's TEK Plenum Fans feature TEK backward curved airfoil wheels. The impellers combine precision injection molding techniques with modern high-strength plastics to produce a wheel that is stronger than steel, yet half its weight, according to the company.
Greenheck’s new Utility Set Fan (USF) Series offers multiple levels of construction to meet a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. Constructed from galvanized steel with a bolted frame, USF-200 utilizes a backward inclined centrifugal wheel and is ideal for Class I airflow and pressure applications where clean air is being exhausted. USF-200 capacities range from 50 to 13,700 cfm and up to 5.0 in. wg.
ClimateCraft has supplemented its FanMatrix™ fan array system with the new BalanceStream™ technology. Featuring a spring-actuated inlet cone and designed with only one moving part, the company says its BalanceStream improves system efficiency, flexibility, and simplicity while reducing maintenance and energy costs. ClimateCraft has engineered the technology to incorporate no supplemental electro-mechanical devices, nor require a complex control strategy. Additionally, BalanceStream eliminates the need for backdraft dampers, and features automatic shut-off in the case of fan failure. FanMatrix with BalanceStream technology is available for replacement fan installations, or easily retrofitted into existing FanMatrix systems.
The Grundfos line of LCSE split-coupled end suction pumps with integrated motor, drive, and control feature the MLE variable speed motor in ranges from 3 to 30 HP in 3,500 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 3 to 25 HP in 1,800 RPM. Available in 21 different models, the fully integrated, intelligent LCSE pumping system offers energy savings of up to 50%, according to the company.
Goodway Technologies has launched its TFC-200 Tower Fill Cleaner, which provides a complete all-in-one system for cleaning lime scale, debris, and biological matter from cooling tower fill. The TFC-200 combines Goodway’s chemical solutions and pump technology to dissolve scale deposits, increase water flow, and slow dangerous biological build up.
The UV-Com™ Control Panel from UV Resources provides a convenient means of monitoring multiple Ultraviolet “C” (UV-C) fixtures installed in individual AHUs. The UV-Com automates the conventional means of “manually checking” that lamps and ballasts are operational and communicates this lamp status to most BAS/BMS. A single UV-Com control panel can simultaneously monitor up to eight separate UV-C fixtures. Multiple UV-Com panels can be linked together in a daisy-chain sequence in order to monitor as many individual UV-C fixtures as necessary.
